Start your conversation in the first place. That will take you to the next level.
It is a real-life incident of one of my clients, who shared with me during our initial conversation. Sharing this here might ignite people who want to be entrepreneurs and do not know what idea or instinct they need to follow. He started as below:
“One real-life incident that triggered an idea to be an entrepreneur was a conversation I had with a friend struggling to find affordable and healthy meal options while working long hours at her job. She mentioned that she often resorted to fast food or unhealthy snacks because she didn’t have the time or energy to cook after work. This conversation made me realize there was a market gap for healthy and convenient meal options for busy professionals.
I began researching meal delivery services and found that while many options were available, most were too expensive or lacked variety. I saw an opportunity to create a meal delivery service that provided healthy and affordable meals and offered a wide range of options to cater to different dietary needs and preferences.
To differentiate my business from existing meal delivery services, I incorporated a subscription model allowing customers to customize their meal plans based on their preferences and needs. This would ensure that customers received meals that were tailored to their tastes and dietary requirements, making the service more personalized and appealing.
To test the viability of my idea, I conducted market research and found that there was indeed a demand for healthy and convenient meal options among busy professionals. I also contacted potential customers through surveys and focus groups to gather feedback and insights on what they would want from a meal delivery service.
Armed with this information, I began developing a business plan and seeking funding to launch my venture. I worked with a team of chefs and nutritionists to create a menu that offered a variety of healthy and delicious meals while ensuring that the ingredients used were locally sourced and sustainable.
I launched my business initially in my local area and quickly gained a following among busy professionals who appreciated the convenience and quality of our meal delivery service. As the business grew, I expanded our delivery area and added new features such as a mobile app and loyalty program to enhance the customer experience.
Looking back, that conversation he had with his friend was the spark that ignited his entrepreneurial journey. By being open-minded and willing to explore new ideas, one should be able to identify a gap in the market and create a solution that meets the target audience’s needs. As an entrepreneur, listening to feedback and staying flexible to adapt to your customer’s changing needs and preferences is important.
